IT/IS Manager

The IT/IS manager is the key person in charge of managing Information technologies and Information Systems for both our Digital production center in Vietnam and our global organization in general. The responsibilities include proposing solutions and technologies, planning, implementation, user support, continuous improvement and team/project management responsibilities, in both IT and IS areas.


  • Setting up IT/IS infrastructures for new offices
  • Managing vendors and contractors
  • Managing the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, and the support of all IT/IS infrastructure, including servers, PCs, operating systems and software applications to ensure the company's continuing business operation and ensuring the good functioning of all of this
  • Working with our client's IT team for maintaining and improving the IT/IS system
  • Developing, updating and implementing all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision
  • Ensuring that software licensing laws are adhered to
  • Providing secure access to the network for both internal and remote employees and protecting IT/IS infrastructure from non-company employees
  • Evaluating and anticipating the company's needs and ensuring that IT/IS infrastructure facilities meet these needs
  • Providing KPIs and measures of the service we provide both in terms of infrastructure performance and in terms of response time to requests and the associated budget
  • Ensuring the creation and the maintenance of all written documentation on IT/IS infrastructure for knowledge management
  • Preparing the budget forecast and the proposal and acting as an approval contact for IT and IS facilities
  • Conducting IT/IS training for newcomers and annually
  • Proposing hardware and software application solutions to adapt to the business needs
  • Maintains a safe and secure work environment
  • Conducting regular system audits
  • Providing direction for IT team members
  • Handle annual budget and ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Evaluating and introducing new IT solutions
  • Manage the assets of the B.O.T offices




  • At least 10 years of experience in managing IT/IS support in a multi-location organization, preferred in banking or software industries
  • At least 5 years in a department manager position
  • Very good English skills (Upper-Intermediate or Advanced level)
  • Working experience in ISO 27001 certified organizations and its audits
  • Strong experience in selection, deployment, training and other management activities on software collaboration solutions, preferably for IT / software development organizations
  • Expertise in network design & system administration (Firewall, Routers, Microsoft Windows Servers, Linux servers, VLAN, Backup, Antivirus, Mail service,…)



  • Engineering degree in IT (or equivalent)
  • Experience in the best security practices
  • Strong team management skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience in the management of VMWare - Infrastructure
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Disciplined, hard-working, responsible, well-organized, trustworthy, honest, committed
